THE TREICHVILLE MAIN MARKET

One of Abidjan’s essential hubs, the Treichville Main Market was rebuilt by SETAO, mandated by the construction and real estate company SICOGI. In order to give it a second lease of life, reconstruction work created a surface area of 26,300 m², comprising 3,609 stalls, 1,850 3–m² box stalls, 52 shops of 40m² and 31 shops measuring 17m². Inaugurated in June 2003, the market also features 58 fishmonger’s, 1 butcher’s, 8 maquis restaurant areas and 20 coldrooms.
