SETAO was awarded the contract for the construction of Abidjan’s new Mövenpick Hotel in April 2018. This up-market complex features 160 rooms over 7 floors with a total surface area of more than 14,000m². Situated on the Plateau, the capital city’s business district, it overlooks the Bay of Abidjan and is directly linked to the Nour al Hayat shopping mall to create a place dedicated to relaxation, art, catering and leisure activities.
As fruit of a long-standing partnership between SETAO and client SAPRIM, the project was able to call on the expertise of Central Engineering and the Development Management of Bouygues Construction.
After the Cap Sud shopping mall and Bouygues Travaux Publics handing over Abidjan’s third bridge in 2015, the Ivory Coast remains a high-potential country with historically strong ties with Bouygues Construction.
