MANZANA HOTEL

Built between 1894 and 1917, the building was first the country’s first shopping center before becoming a cultural center. In 2014, Bouygues Bâtiment International was chosen to transform the building in the historic center of Havana into a 5 * hotel with 246 rooms. The work consisting of: restoration to the identity of the facade, demolition of the central part of the building, reconstruction of the interior part, restitution of the shopping gallery on the ground floor, construction of a room conference, restaurant and swimming pool, creation of an interior patio. Built between 1894 and 1917, the building was first the country’s first shopping center before becoming a cultural center. The “Gran Hotel Manzana” is the first luxury hotel in Cuba.
